🌙 LA Theatre and Creative Events: Oct 28 - Nov 4th

Thank you for subscribing to and reading Ensemble LA! It’s so exciting to see so many people reading and celebrating LA’s creative and scrappy theatre and creative scene each week.

Please share with anyone in LA, anyone in a show, anyone wanting to see shows, and anyone wanting to learn new creative skills. It helps it grow! ✨

Happy Monday! 🦊

We saw the whimsical Heading Into Night this weekend and can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s a poignant journey through dementia using a clever and surprising system of memory boxes to take you through snapshots of the protagonist’s life.

It’s striking in its simplicity, blending classic clown, mime, and impressive sound and visual work, taking you from roaring laughter to tears in moments. The state of the stage at the end of the show gives you a clue to the wild time we all had.

I also spent some time shooting some portraits with two of the three wonderful actors from Electra; here’s a couple below, and I’ll be sharing more on my Instagram soon! The amount of hard work and expertise that has gone into this show can’t be overstated AND it’s a good laugh. I can’t wait for opening night!

If anyone needs any photography work done, let me know! I’ll be launching my portfolio and services in the next month or so!!
