🦁 LA Shows and Events: July 22 - 29th

Thank you for subscribing to Ensemble LA, where we celebrate and share LA’s creativity and exciting, scrappy theatre scene!

Please share with anyone creative in LA, anyone who is in a show, and anyone who wants to see shows.

Happy Monday!

There are some super interesting looking shows this week, including a play set in South Wales, which made me double-take! Splott is where my brother lives in Cardiff, and I truly had never heard of Welsh playwright Gary Owens or this play. So I’m really curious and looking forward to that one!

Speaking of playwriting, having a break from acting class this month has given me some extra time to start writing a play that’s been percolating in my head all year. It feels great to get going with it finally, but of course, I’m feeling the pressure of getting a project that I’m genuinely very excited about down on paper! 😵‍💫 Thankfully, I have some very supportive and talented people around me, keeping me motivated!

That said, let’s get into the LA shows and create events you shouldn’t miss!

P.S. If you want to submit your own event for this newsletter, fill in this form or DM on our Instagram page!
